Across the Otway region local Landcare groups are implementing revegetation projects on farms to repair and enhance our natural environment. Over the years the OAN has demonstrated that conservation and production are compatible. High quality timber can be harvested from landcare plantings without compromising environmental values. Indeed, thinning and harvesting can enhance biodiversity by providing standing and ground level dead-wood and increasing understory development.

OAN is available to work with landcare groups in the design and management of multipurpose revegetation projects - for conservation and profit.
